About Us
On April 28, 2021, during its eighth flyby of the Sun, Parker Solar Probe did what no other human-made object has ever done: it “touched” the Sun—meaning the spacecraft flew through the Sun’s upper atmosphere (the corona) and sampled particles and magnetic fields there. Our challenge is to develop a creative way to tell young audiences and children the inspiring story of Parker’s record-breaking journey from Earth to the Sun and all the perils it overcame on the way. The focus of the idea was how to provide purposeful scientific content to children that is easy to understand and they do not get bored of receiving scientific information in it, so we came up with an electronic book that presents the journey supported by pictures and animated videos that show the content of the e-book. Parker Solar Probe is the superhero in our story. We often find superheroes in Disney fairy tales only, but our spacecraft in his journey to our solar galaxy was able to be a hero who serves humanity in the long run by being close to the sun and exploring the mysteries and mysteries of our star that we did not know before that will help us In avoiding many natural disasters caused by the sun that affect our satellites and communication networks, and these explorations will make us predict the weather in space more clearly to determine the best climate for astronauts’ flights, Therefore, we had to present the journey of this superhero to the sun for children, but in a way that keeps pace with their minds, by supporting the story with many pictures, videos, activities, and critical thinking questions, in addition to a simple writing image for young children. We have supported our e-book with an audio version of it so that blind children can listen To Parker solar probe's amazing journey.
